Check the most risky feature
Before major development, make a small prototype of a complex exchange or calculation. It should answer a specific question about the possibility of implementation, and not be a decorative layout. For an existing store, evaluate the upgrade first: a full migration is only justified when the benefits outweigh the costs and operational risks.
